Some of you more seasoned teachers and performers are welcome to check it out, and tell me your thoughts on what you read and see. The following link shows my humble beginnings of such a method. Through this, the guitarist will gain efficiency, knowledge and comfort that will translate into other aspects of his/her playing. What I am proposing is a methodology that will work step-by-step towards building confidence in the guitarist, while working to better understand how to recognize inefficient movement. Even those of us who have been playing for decade(s) can appreciate the feeling of realization when a finger movement "clicks," and finally seems to make sense. Such a methodology would be beneficial to guitarists of all skill levels. Many beginners are not shown how to be aware of finger movement on the fretboard, let alone given a logical methodology to work towards chord change mastery. I have found very little available for the beginning or intermediate guitarist who is struggling to better fluidity and efficiency of chord changes. I am a firm believer in pedagogies that stay simple and build progressively. From websites, YouTube, and now wonderful platforms like Periscope (and don't forget Twitter and Facebook) beginning musicians are bombarded with content, with each piece adding a new, "unique" methodology to the fray. There seems to be very few resources to assist the beginning musician wade through the large sea of content. Some of it seems good, but obviously not all of it is beneficial. It seems that there is a vast amount of information available to the beginning guitarist.
